Confidence Boosters For a Quick State Change
When you’re feeling down, what specific things do you do to get inspired to move forward with power? Is there a process you go through to gain your confidence? This article on confidence boosters will give you some simple exercises to use to increase your confidence quickly. Here are several that I use and teach daily.
Learning Something New
When you learn a new skill, develop a new hobby, or to anything to expand your mind with new knowledge, those activities produce confidence. A friend of mine used to work a sales job. To be honest, he was about the worst salesman in the company and was on my way to termination. He bought a couple of sales books and CD’s and devoured the information. His new found knowledge gave him the necessary skills and confidence to begin to make sales on his job.
Relive Your Past Success
Reminding yourself of your many accomplishments is just about the easiest way to boost your confidence. We have all done great things. The problem is that the bar that we set for our accomplishments are so high, it doesn’t seem like we’ve succeeded at anything. On you path to your goals, what action steps have you completed? Even the smallest action step is a victory. Am I right? Use any ammunition on yourself that you can. Whatever it takes to quickly boost your confidence, use it.
Focus On Your Hero’s
Look at the lives of the great men and women that you respect and admire. What qualities do you both share? While thinking of your hero, make a list of 100 top qualities you possess.
Offer To Help Others
I was on the phone with a friend yesterday. He works a job he hates and is neither fulfilled or making enough money. While we spoke, I took him around to several of the sites I use to generate income for myself. After twenty or thirty minutes on the phone, my friend Lionel was looking at me as if I were some great marketing God. Sharing your knowledge to help others is a wonderful confidence booster.
